BOI Affairs Specialist (New Setup Plant)

• Oversee the maintenance of BOI benefits, including tax-exempt equipment import lists and corporate income tax exemption applications, ensuring full compliance with BOI conditions (e.g., investment amount, local employee hiring ratio)

Policy Research & Compliance Implementation

• Monitor updates on Thailand’s BOI policies (e.g., the 2023 7-Year Investment Promotion Strategy) and provide strategic recommendations to optimize investment incentives.
• Collaborate with legal and finance teams to conduct BOI compliance reviews, mitigating risks related to benefit cancellation due to project delays or equity changes.

• Serve as the company’s representative in liaising with Thai government agencies such as the BOI, Ministry of Industry, and Customs, establishing long-term communication channels.
• Facilitate policy interpretation between the China headquarters and Thai subsidiaries and conduct bilingual (Chinese-Thai) BOI training sessions (e.g., customs duty-free procedures, foreign employee quota rules).

• Manage BOI annual report submissions, audit coordination, and benefit renewal applications.
• Assist with BOI-related matters such as land purchase/leasing and environmental permits (EIA) for BOI enterprises.

• Thai nationality, aged 28-40, with a bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Law, International Trade, or Engineering.
• Proficiency in Chinese, with the ability to draft bilingual (Chinese-Thai) government documents and conduct business negotiations independently.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on BOI experience in Thailand, having led at least two BOI project applications in the manufacturing, new energy, or digital industries.

Professional Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of the BOI application process, including industry code matching and Appendix 5.1 form completion, with familiarity with EEC special incentive policies.
• Strong understanding of Thailand’s Foreign Business Act (FBA), customs regulations, and foreign exchange control rules (e.g., profit repatriation procedures for BOI enterprises).
• BOI official training certifications (e.g., BOI Certificate) or international investment promotion qualifications (e.g., IISL) are preferred.

Soft Skills

• Strong government relations skills, with a deep understanding of Thailand’s bureaucratic system.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in high-pressure environments and adapt to the work dynamics of both China and Thailand.
