Key Responsibilities:
Stock Allocation & Replenishment:
- Ensure accurate and timely allocation of products to stores for regular and promotional sales activities.
- Optimize store stock levels by understanding sales patterns, store capacity, and trade performance.
Stock Management & Monitoring:
- Track and monitor stock movement to ensure timely delivery to the appropriate store locations.
- Implement efficient stock consolidation strategies to drive full-price sales and minimize markdowns.
In-Season Trading Management:
- Balance inventory levels to maximize sell-through rates while maintaining store stock capacity.
- Execute effective stock transfer actions based on sales performance and store needs.
Performance Analysis & Problem-Solving:
- Analyze stock issues and sales opportunities to enhance performance and improve inventory flow.
- Collaborate with Merchandise Planning and Buying teams to implement action plans for inventory optimization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Maintain strong communication with Merchandise Planning, Buying, and Store Operations teams to align stock strategies with business goals.
- Proactively address inventory challenges and provide insights for better decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in stock management, merchandise allocation, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply logical thinking to stock consolidation and replenishment.
- Understanding of store trading and inventory management to drive sales and improve stock efficiency.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work proactively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in retail merchandise planning and execution is preferred.
