2. Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for importing food products and negotiate contracts and terms with partners to secure cost-effective deals.
3. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote food products in the national market.
4. Coordinate with logistics providers, freight forwarders and customs brokers to arrange transportation and documentation.
5. Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for import schedules.
6. Comply with international trade regulations, food safety standards and relevant customs laws, trade agreements and food import/export regulations in relevant countries.
7. Work closely with quality control teams to ensure products meet international food safety and quality standards.
8. Build relationships with suppliers, distributors and customers worldwide.
