About our group
• The Global Packaging Engineering team provides/creates innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable packaging and in-process tray/carrier (automated and manual) solutions that involving with the STX supply-chain and transportation, holistically for STX operation and environment.
• Our designed mechanical part touch/contribute to STX product/quality from Slider to HDD, until EDS unit, as well as the packaging that ship product to our customers
About the role – you will:
• Develops complex package design and testing to meet established requirements and maintains oversight of existing packaging.
• Develops recommendations according to the nature of the product, cost considerations, legal requirements and the type of protection required (distribution, moisture, chemicals, cleanliness, ESD, automation).
• Responsible for supporting Marketing and secondary contract packaging sites including document management.
About you:
• Organization, ability to manage and support multiple projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good Engineering verification and evaluation skills
• Ability to work across multiple teams and collaborate effectively
• Communication skills
• Good command of English
Your experience includes:
• Microsoft Office, computer programing (C and Python), Matlab and oscilloscope
• Signal and system, basic electrical and circuit
• Data analysis
You might also have:
• SQL, KNIME programing skills
• Advanced data science, AI, Machine Learning
