1. Design and develop parts/products in 3D CAD using sofftware such as Solidwork and AutoCAD.
2. Create 3D models along with detailed designs that can be used for production.
3. Analyze structural of the product and conduct preliminary strength.
4. Select appropriate plastic materials, such as ABS, PP, PC, or POM to suit the Injection Molding process and its intended application.
5. Coolaborate with the production, engineering, and quality control departments to ensure that the design is manufacturable.
6. Check and improve the design to ensure compatibility with the manufacturing.
7. Use CAE/Simulation Software to test the performance of the designed parts.
8. Prepare technical documents such as drawing and assembly instructions.
9. Develop new design approaches to improve product efficiency.
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical engineer, Mold engineer, Design Engineer, or any related fields.
2. At least 1-3 years of work experience in 3D design.
3. Proficiency in 3D design software especially, Solidworks and AutoCAD.
4. Understanding of materials, manufacturing process, and forming methods, such as Injection Molding, Sheet Metal, CNC Machining.
5. Strong in problem solving and able to resolve design-related issues.
6. Have experience in FEA (Finite Element Analysis), CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), or GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) will be an advantage.
7. Have teamwotk and able to collaborate effectively with other departments.
8. Attention to detail and able to work under pressure.
