VAL Operator Specialist / Logistics Coordinator (Bangna KM.19)

Purpose of the position
- Key contact person for customer, supplier, transport company and freight forwarder.
- To control warehouse operation according to customer’s requirement.
- Process improvement implementation.
Key Tasks
- Key contact person for customer, supplier, transport company and freight forwarder.
- Monitor inspection and receiving for inbound cargo, manage irregularities (e.g. discrepancies)
- GR goods into system.
- Arrange all stock checks and regular cycle counts, update stock/cycle count results to customer.
- Coordinate picking & packing with warehouse operation.
- Create DN, and have it attached with goods.
- Prepare KPI reports to customer.
- Become cross trained on all customers' requirements so as you may be a back up in case of absence etc.
- Handle additional duties as assigned.
- Data Entry.
- Supervise operation team on shop floor.
- Implement best practice and improvement project.

- Perform assigned tasks to support Panalpina meets its objectives and targets regarding quality, health, safety and environment as documented in IMS and follow all requirements as set out in the QHSE policy.
- It is the responsibility of all staff to ensure that their day to day activities embrace sustainability/Health and safety therefore reducing the impact upon the environment, supporting the communities we work in and reducing incidents in the workplace.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of warehousing and Distribution concepts
- Knowledge of Thai Customs regulations is an advantage.
- Familiar with warehousing environment at the international level
- Basic knowledge solution design and engineering.

- Bachelor’s degree in any fields
- Minimum 0-3 years of experience
- Preferably working experience with 3PL operator
- Skills in English both verbal and written will be an advantage.
- Good skills in using Microsoft Excel, Word.
- SAP or ERP skill will be an advantage.
- WMS skill will be an advantage.

Working Day / Time: Mon-Sat / 8:30-17:30

From local haulier to global freight forwarder
