Purchasing Officer/Logistic coordinator

• In this role, you will work both independently and in cooperation with others. The following tasks and projects can be expected:
• Managing the movement of inventory between VIKING facilities
• Ensuring inventory availability
• Analyzing and assessing stock
• Analyzing and providing information for Key Performance Indicators and act according to the Global goals
• Maintain logistics parameters in SAP
• Develop, improve and simplify processes

Your profile

• Previous working experience in a highly structured global working environment with focus on planning, data control, and service-mindedness is essential. The successful applicant must also be able to coordinate between logistics departments and VIKING subsidiaries to ensure order completeness and timely deliveries.
• You will work closely with other departments and colleagues, therefore you are great at communication and working across the organization. On a personal level you are analytical thinker, solution-oriented and flexible, responsive, positive and precise.
• 4-5 years’ experience in a purchasing and/or coordination department is preferred. Furthermore, an in-depth knowledge of stock control and turnover is required.
• In addition, a high standard of written and spoken English and Thai. Knowledge of SAP and logistics would be advantageous.
