- Develop and implement procurement strategies for cost optimization and enhancing supply chain efficiency
- Analyze market research to stay updated on market trends, supplier capabilities and pricing fluctuations
- Assess and select suppliers based on quality, timeliness, reliability, cost effectiveness and adherence to ethical and sustainability standards
- Manage supplier relationships with ongoing performance assessment, issue resolution and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Monitor inventory levels, analyze demands and implement strategies to manage stock levels
- Identify, assess and initiate suitable solutions to mitigate procurement risks
- Conduct procurement performance evaluations timely and constructively
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and develop procurement plans accordingly
- Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Control and supervise employees to perform duties ethically
- Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy and develop their competency continuously
- Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department
- Prepare and process purchase orders for supplies and services
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- At least 10 years experience in purchasing/procurement or a similar field.
- Experience in Quality system work ISO-9001
- Good English communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Strong leadership, good organization, good relationship and management abilities.
