- Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for both direct and indirect customers, ensuring exceptional service and seamless communication.
- Customs Coordination: Collaborate with customs officials to facilitate smooth import and export shipments, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Regulatory Compliance: Uphold strict adherence to trade regulations and customs requirements, ensuring all import-export activities meet legal standards.
- Workflow Management: Optimize workflow by managing clerical tasks and supporting team members during peak periods to enhance overall efficiency.
- Order Verification: Ensure that container orders align with customs regulations, maintaining accuracy and compliance at all times.
- Feedback Collection: Gather valuable insights through customer feedback surveys, helping the terminal enhance its performance for indirect customers.
- Expert in LEAN and Process Excellence is a must.
- At least 5 years of experience in Logistics or Import & Export.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Strong academic English skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Incoterms, shipping terms, and customs regulations, including prohibited and restricted goods.
- Understanding of international payment methods for cargo release.
- Knowledge of project management principles is a plus.
