- Inspect the installation of mechanical systems, such as piping systems and various mechanical systems, to ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
- Verify materials, equipment, and machinery used in the project meet the required specifications.
- Coordinate with production engineers and contractors to resolve issues encountered in the project.
- Attend meetings and provide recommendations on quality matters.
- Conduct on-site inspections and tests (Testing & Commissioning), such as testing the functionality of mechanical systems.
- Ensure that project activities align with the planned schedule and standards.
- Identify potential quality issues and provide solutions for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in: Marine Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- Hold a professional engineering license (PE) at the Associate or Professional Engineer level.
- Experience in QA/QC or projects related to ships and mechanical systems.
- Strong English communication skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Thorough understanding of drawings and specifications.
