- Experience in Construction purchasing and knowledge of BOQ and construction material
- Working as the Procurement Project lead responsible for engineering, architectural, and interior materials procurement management for our real estate projects.
- Responsible for procurement activities in Greater China
- Preparation and maintenance of the procurement schedule
- Making a list of materials requirements for each order
- Selection of local suppliers based on certain category selection criteria (e.g. cost, quality, performance, service)
- Ability to prepare tender documents for purchases from local and Chinese suppliers
- Managing relationships with suppliers within the Company's business lines, including negotiations on all conflicts, problems, issues, prices, supplies and/or specifications
- Evaluate adjustments to procurement strategy and plans following changing economic and competitive conditions
- Meet with suppliers when necessary to assess deadlines, costs, etc.
- Checking offers from China and local suppliers (quantity, type, compliance with parameters)
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
- More than 5 years Extensive experience working in project procurement within the Main Contractor or Real estate Industry
- At least 5 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management
- At least 5 years of working experience in purchasing and/or sourcing in China, good experience in Hotel Industry
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and verbal)
- In-depth knowledge of materials, engineering equipment, and systems related to Residential projects: Hotel.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, able to conduct formal bidding.
- Able to travel to meet with suppliers and work overtime as required.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced changing environment, can work under pressure; able to handle multiple projects.
