Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the New Product Engineer to review and verify work instructions (WI) and unique assembly techniques for each product.
• Ensure that all technical documents, including assembly techniques, are up-to-date and accurate before the production phase.
• Oversee and conduct master tests, ensuring all stages (waxing, casting, pre-plating, plating, and post-plating) meet quality standards.
• Collect and analyze defect data and yield rates per process to assess potential production issues.
• Develop and finalize a comprehensive risk and control point document for each new product launch, highlighting critical process areas.
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them during initial production.
• Support the initial mass production run (First batch) by tracking quality metrics and troubleshooting any arising issues.
• Provide feedback and continuous improvement suggestions based on the performance of the first batch to enhance future production efficiency and quality.
• Use statistical analysis tools to monitor and analyze production data, focusing on yield rates, defect rates, and process efficiency.
• Apply data analytics to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities across production stages.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support data-driven decision-making.
• Work closely with quality, production, and process engineering teams to ensure seamless communication and problem resolution during product launches.
