Product Engineer / Process Engineer, Test Engineer

Develop test process documentation; buyoff hardware and software. Compliance with customer test requirement and continuous improvement on test coverage and hardware.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the introduction of existing and new active and passive optics products into manufacturing.
• Generate and maintain documentation related to tests, tooling and safety, ensures designs, documents, and test procedures have been validated in manufacturing prior to production release.
• Manage test process development and improvements, ensure the accomplishment of the production plan.
• Provide technical support for the qualification and validation of new equipment and processes.
• Ensure smooth running and responsive relationships are initiated and maintained with customers and suppliers
• Write and perform Test Program Qualification Protocols and Reports to internal/customer expectations
• Ensure that activities are carried out in compliance with established quality control policies/work instructions
• Facilitate continuous improvement & cost reduction projects. Provide technical knowledge on products/ test issues.

• Software or Computer Engineering degree or equivalent ( Min 2-5 year in Electronics industry experience)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Minimum 2-3 years experiences in testing of optical devices, components or telecommunication area.
• Demonstrated hands on experience in resolving technical issues involving optical test equipment and test system set-up.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel when needed.
• Familiar with Telcordia reliability testing of passive optical components and experience in optical transceivers and optical devices manufacturing is a plus.
