We are seeking a skilled and motivated QA Tester to join our team. This role will involve ensuring the quality and functionality of software systems through comprehensive testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software testing, problem-solving, and system thinking, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Responsibilities
- Designing and executing test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Conducting system testing across different platforms, including websites and mobile applications (iOS, Android).
- Performing unit testing, building, and automating tests to validate software functionality.
- Analyzing requirements to ensure tests align with business needs.
- Setting up and maintaining test environments to ensure smooth execution of tests.
- Using automation testing frameworks such as Cypress.io, Selenium, Robot, etc., to automate test cases and improve testing efficiency.
- Prioritizing test cases and executing tests in both manual and automated environments.
- Collaborating with project management teams to ensure testing meets project goals and deadlines.
- Generating reports and documentation of test scenarios, test cases, and testing results, using tools like Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing.
- Knowledge and understanding of banking or financial business operations is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analysis, and project management skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to learn quickly.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with unit testing, test case production, and test automation.
